Operation: Gear ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We collect the minimum data needed to operate our business and ship you gear.

2. Data we collect

Order data - name, email, shipping address, billing address, payment confirmation (handled by Stripe; we never see your card number).
Account data - if you create an account: email + password hash.
Site analytics - anonymized page views and event tracking via Google Analytics 4. We do not sell this data.
Email - if you subscribe: email address, used only to send product updates and (occasional) relevant offers.

3. How we use data

To process and ship orders.
To send order updates (tracking, delivery confirmation).
To respond to support requests.
To improve the site (anonymized usage patterns).

4. Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. Card data never touches our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies: session cookies for shopping cart state, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). You can opt out via your browser settings.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Email info@operationgear.com and we'll action it within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We keep order records for 7 years (required by tax law). Everything else is deleted on request or after 24 months of inactivity.
